Biography

I began my recording career with indie-rock trio Bowlfish. Guided by Laurence Bell (Roughneck, Domino Records), the band recorded and released regularly and performed alongside American alternative acts. My first fully-professional band Tokyo Dragons – a hard rock ‘n’ roll quartet – recorded and toured extensively, signing with Island records. Prior to becoming a member of Joe Elliott’s Down ‘N’ Outz (Def Leppard singer’s side project) I played with the Quireboys, and worked closely with The Union (Luke Morley/Thunder, Pete Shoulder/Winterville). I’ve also enjoyed playing with Ian Hunter (Mott The Hoople), Mick Ralphs (Bad Co,Mott The Hoople), Kirk Brandon, Stam Stammers (Spear Of Destiny/Theatre Of Hate), Craig Adams (Mission/Cult),  Jim Cregan (Rod Stewart), Pavement, Pete Shoulder (The Union), Max Rafferty (The Kooks), Claytown Troupe, The Priscillas, Tracie Hunter, Liz Westwood (Westworld), Derran Brownson (EMF), Heavy Metal Kids, Daniel Jeanrenaud (The Camden Cat)

Current projects include rock combo Wayward Sons – 3rd LP released in 2021. Kirk Brandon’s Spear Of Destiny featuring glam/pop/rock/ska beats – with new LP ‘Ghost Population’ release in Nov 2022.  Joe Elliott’s Down N Outz – a homage to Mott The Hoople’s style of rock n roll. 3rd LP  ‘This Is How We Roll’ released in 2019 (songs penned by Joe himself) won Album of the year at PlanetRockRadio.

Recent projects include Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind, Sirens Of Titan & Alluri.
